Mandan Test Stand
When Mandan was looking for a test stand to test relief valves on,they had a few special requirements. First it had to be easy to set up initially, and it had to have the ability to quickly change configurations when switching between sizes and static test mediums (oil, water, gas). And most stringently, it had to be able to test valves contaminated with high molarity hydrofluoric acid without falling apart. Well we were able to meet all those challenges by using Monel for large portions so the stand could withstand the glass-dissolving corrosiveness of the acid.
